Your Reiki journey begins with you. Have you ever felt drawn to Reiki and wondered what it might be like to learn this beautiful Japanese practice for yourself? Shoden, meaning “First Teachings,” is the beginning of your journey into Traditional Japanese Usui Reiki Ryōhō. During our two-day training, we'll explore the foundations of Reiki, the Five Precepts, traditional Japanese practices and techniques, and the importance of developing your own daily self-practice. My approach to teaching Reiki is rooted in the understanding that Reiki is not simply something we do. It is also a way of being, inviting us to slow down, become more present, and bring greater awareness into our everyday lives. Our classes are intentionally small, with no more than five students, allowing plenty of time for questions, practice, and personal guidance. No previous Reiki experience is necessary. And your learning doesn't end when our two days together are finished. Your training includes a comprehensive student manual, self-practice resources, a 45-minute individual mentorship session, six months of monthly online mentorship gatherings, and access to instructional practice videos. Shoden is focused on learning Reiki for yourself, building a foundation for your personal practice before moving on to working with others in future levels. Cancellation Policy
SHODEN WORKSHOP REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION POLICY REGISTRATION & PAYMENT: Tuition for this two-day Shoden workshop is $350. A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your place. The remaining $250 balance is due January 9, 2027. Students may also pay the full tuition at registration. A 48-hour grace period is provided for overdue balances. After that, your reservation may be released. CANCELLATIONS & TRANSFERS: 14 or more days before the workshop: Payments beyond the $100 nonrefundable deposit will be refunded. Fewer than 14 days before the workshop: No cash refunds will be issued. All payments may be credited toward one future Shoden workshop within six months, subject to availability. No-shows: No automatic refund or transfer credit will be provided. Emergencies: Genuine illness or unexpected emergencies will be considered individually. Please contact us as soon as possible. ATTENDANCE & CERTIFICATION: Attendance and participation on both training days are required for a certificate of completion. If an illness or emergency prevents completion, we will work with you individually to explore a makeup arrangement. WORKSHOP CANCELLATION: If Peace by the Beach Reiki & Crystals cancels the workshop, students may choose a full refund or transfer to a future class.
