About Me

Hi there and welcome to Peace by the Beach Reiki and Crystals, LLC.  My name is Laurie Wilburn, and I am a Master Level Reiki Practitioner who has been practicing Usui Reiki Ryoho, Traditional Japanese Reiki, since 2013.  I also am passionate about crystals and love to integrate them during my Reiki sessions as well as teach about their properties and uses.  I offer in-person Reiki sessions in my home in Coastal NC as well as distance sessions for those who cannot travel to see me or would prefer sessions from the comfort of their own home.  I would be very honored to hold space with you during a Reiki session as well as introduce you to Reiki if you have not yet experienced it.  I also teach Usui Reiki Ryoho if you would like to learn more about this powerful tool.  We also offer a variety of beautiful crystals in our online shop for your purchase.  Our goal is to provide a sacred space for you to connect mind, body, and spirit. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have about Reiki or crystals; and I will be happy to respond, or we can even set up a time for us to chat.  Peace, Blessings, and Love be with you; and thank you so very much for visiting our site today.

WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is a stress reduction and relaxation technique that supports the body's natural ability to heal itself.  Universal life energy also known as Chi, Ki, and Prana flows through every living thing including plants, animals, and people.   Reiki helps restore the balanced flow of this energy.  It is so effective that it is currently being used in over 800 hospitals across the United States!! During a Reiki session the client is fully clothed and can be seated or lying on a massage table.  The Practitioner taps into this universal energy and places their hands lightly on or slightly above the person receiving it, based on the client's preference.  Most people find Reiki very relaxing, and some even fall asleep during a session.  Reiki focuses on bringing the mental, physical, and emotional states of being into balance and promotes overall well-being.  It is considered a complimentary therapy and is never a replacement for proper medical care.
