Service Description
Your Reiki journey is a personal one, and sometimes a quieter learning environment or a more flexible schedule is exactly what you need. At Peace by the Beach Reiki & Crystals, I offer private, one-on-one Shoden training for those who prefer individualized instruction or cannot attend a scheduled group workshop. Shoden, meaning "First Teachings," is the beginning of your journey into traditional Japanese Usui Reiki Ryoho. This foundational level focuses on your own self-practice, the Reiki Precepts, traditional Japanese meditations, and developing a meaningful daily practice. PRIVATE TRAINING OPTIONS Two-Day Workshop: Two full days of individual instruction, approximately 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Flexible Sessions: Four sessions of approximately three hours each, generally completed within 30 days. Reasonable adjustments may be arranged based on mutual availability. WHAT'S INCLUDED • Complete Level 1 Shoden curriculum • Printed student manual and learning materials • Individual Reiju • Guided traditional Japanese Reiki practices • Certificate of completion • 21-day self-practice guidance • Practice videos and additional resources • One private mentorship session within 30 days after training • Monthly online group mentorship gatherings for six months TUITION & REGISTRATION Tuition: $450 A $100 nonrefundable deposit reserves your agreed-upon training dates and is applied toward tuition. The remaining $350 is due seven days before your first training session. Private training is available by appointment. Cancellation Policy
PRIVATE SHODEN TRAINING — REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION POLICY REGISTRATION & PAYMENT: Tuition for private Shoden Level 1 Reiki training is $450, regardless of the scheduling format selected. A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve mutually agreed-upon training dates. The remaining $350 balance is due seven days before the first scheduled training session. Students may also pay the full tuition at registration. A 48-hour grace period is provided for overdue balances. After that, reserved training dates may be released. CANCELLATIONS & TRANSFERS 14 or more days before training begins:** Payments beyond the $100 nonrefundable deposit will be refunded upon request. Fewer than 14 days before training begins:** No cash refunds will be issued. All payments may be credited toward one rescheduled private Shoden training within six months, subject to availability. No-shows: No automatic refund or transfer credit will be provided. Emergencies: Genuine illness or unexpected emergencies will be considered individually. Please contact us as soon as possible. ATTENDANCE & CERTIFICATION Students must complete the entire Shoden curriculum, required practices, and individual Reiju to receive a certificate of completion. Private training may be completed over two full days or through shorter sessions arranged in advance. If an illness or emergency prevents completion, we will work with the student individually to explore an appropriate makeup arrangement. TRAINING CANCELLATION: If Peace by the Beach Reiki & Crystals cancels private training and cannot provide an acceptable alternative date, students may choose a full refund or transfer to a future training.
