Larvikite Crystal Skull
Beautiful carved and polished Larvikite Skull measures approximately 1 1/2" tall x 2" long x 1" wide and weighs approximately 2.8 - 2.9 oz. Larvikite is thought to connect the wearer to the earth's energy. It is said to promote stability and security and help reduce stress and anxiety. Larvikite is said to shield the wearer from negative energies and is believed to promote a sense of inner strength. Some people wear or carry Larvikite as a talisman. Larvikite is also believed to stimulate spiritual growth, increase perceptivity, and enhance intuition. It is also thought to help release negative energies and have a calming and stabilizing influence on the mind and emotions. Larvikite is a member of the feldspar family. It is named after the Larvik Fjord region in Norway, where it is found. In spirituality, the skull shape is often associated with the concept of mortality, reminding us of our impermanence. It can also symbolize higher knowledge, wisdom, and the power of the mind, representing the ability to transcend limitations and access deeper truths due to its connection with the brain as the seat of consciousness. In some cultures it can even be seen as a portal to the spirit world or a symbol of protection against negativity.
