Hi there, and welcome to the Peace by the Beach Reiki & Crystals' Blog!
My name is Laurie, and my husband Harold and I are the owners of Peace by the Beach Reiki & Crystals, LLC in Havelock, North Carolina. Opening our shop has been such an incredible journey for us, and we feel truly blessed to be able to share something we love so much with our community.
My love for crystals began when I was a child, long before I understood the science, history, and stories behind them. I simply knew that I found them beautiful and fascinating—and honestly, I still feel that same sense of wonder today! I have also practiced Reiki since 2013, and it has become a very meaningful part of my life and the work I now share with others.
I wanted to begin this blog as another way for us to connect with you. We will explore crystals, Reiki, mindfulness, lunar energy, and some of the fascinating stories hidden within the natural world. I will also share things I am learning along the way, behind-the-scenes moments from our shop, and helpful information that I hope makes crystals and Reiki feel a little more approachable.
You do not need to know anything about crystals or Reiki to join us here. Curiosity is more than enough! My hope is that this will feel like sitting down together for a friendly conversation—a place where we can discover, learn, and grow together.
